Head of Finance Systems

A Newcastle based organisation is looking to appoint a Head of Finance Systems to lead a newly established Finance Systems function during an exciting period of growth, change and investment. This Newcastle based position is a highly visible leadership role, reporting into a senior Finance leader and working closely with both Finance and IT stakeholders. You'll be responsible for leading the Finance Systems team, driving the systems roadmap, and supporting a number of key initiatives across reporting, automation, data and technology.

Key Responsibilities Lead, develop and mentor the Finance Systems team Manage a complex Finance Systems support function Own the Finance Systems strategy and roadmap Oversee a multi-system finance environment Partner with senior Finance, IT and Operational stakeholders Drive continuous improvement and process optimisation initiatives Support major programmes across reporting, automation and data Help shape the future use of technology, analytics and AI within the function About You You will ideally bring:
Strong people management experience Finance Systems ownership and leadership experience ERP implementation, support or optimisation experience A track record of delivering change and transformation Excellent stakeholder management skills The ability to bridge the gap between Finance and IT

Experience with reporting, Power BI, automation, data initiatives or business intelligence would be advantageous.
