Sales Ledger Accounts Assistant

We’re looking for a Sales Ledger Accounts Assistant to join a finance team in Worsley.

This is a role suited to someone with Sales Ledger Experience, as you will be supporting the Finance Director with customer sales orders, invoices, credit notes, receipts and general finance administration.

• £30,000 - £35,000 per year
• Mon - Thu | 7:30am - 4pm

• Preparing detailed and accurate financial information
• Processing customer sales orders, invoices, credit notes and receipts
• Managing disputed invoices and chasing overdue debts
• Liaising with customers to support prompt receipt of invoices, credit notes and payments
• Checking and processing service and spare part invoices
• Posting invoices into SAP
• Issuing monthly customer statements
• Adding new customers to the system
• Scanning, filing and archiving documents
• Answering incoming calls for the department
• Supporting colleagues with key tasks during absence and month end
• Completing other administrative and financial tasks as required

• Sales ledger or finance administration experience
• Confident communication skills when liaising with customers
• Strong attention to detail when processing financial information
