About the Role We are looking for an experienced Credit Manager to join the finance team at the company's Leeds site.

This is a key role responsible for overseeing the credit control function, managing the sales ledger and ensuring customer accounts are maintained accurately and payments are collected efficiently. You will lead and support a small team of two, working closely with customers and colleagues across the wider business to resolve account queries, improve cash collection processes and maintain strong financial controls.

Key Responsibilities Credit Control & Sales Ledger Oversee the day-to-day credit control and sales ledger function. Manage and support a team of two credit control/finance professionals. Monitor customer accounts and ensure outstanding balances are collected promptly. Take ownership of aged debt and implement effective collection strategies. Review customer accounts, credit limits and payment terms. Maintain accurate customer and sales ledger information.

Monitor cash collection performance and report on aged debt and key credit metrics. Ensure financial information is processed accurately and in a timely manner. Identify potential credit risks and escalate issues where appropriate. About You Previous experience within a credit control or credit management environment. Experience managing or mentoring a small finance team. Strong knowledge of credit control, sales ledger and debt collection processes.

The ability to manage aged debt and prioritise workload effectively. Confidence communicating with customers by telephone and email. Confidence learning new systems and processes. Please get in touch with Elevation Recruitment for further details.
