Heading up one of 3 sites and working closely with the Financial Controller and wider leadership team, you will play a key role in ensuring robust financial reporting, strengthening controls, supporting commercial decision-making, and driving continuous improvement across the finance function. The Opportunity This is a broad and varied position where you'll have the chance to make a genuine impact.
Initially, the role will be wide-ranging as the business evolves, offering exposure to both operational and strategic finance activities. You'll be joining an organisation that develops advanced technology solutions used in some of the world's most challenging environments, where innovation, reliability, and quality are at the core of everything they do.
Key Responsibilities Preparation of monthly management accounts and group reporting Production of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reporting Budget variance analysis and KPI reporting Supporting forecasting and annual budgeting processes Providing financial insight to support commercial and operational decision-making Preparation and submission of statutory returns, including VAT and other relevant taxes Balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany transactions Payroll and pension administration through outsourced providers P11D and P60 reporting Supporting process improvements and strengthening financial controls Assisting with wider finance projects and business initiatives as required About You My exclusive client is looking for a finance professional who combines strong technical accounting skills with a proactive and hands-on approach.
You will ideally have: ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification Previous experience in a Finance Manager or Senior Finance position Strong management reporting and financial analysis skills Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities A flexible, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills Experience working with ERP systems
Desirable Experience Manufacturing sector experience Multi-currency accounting experience Experience using Epicor and/or Microsoft Dynamics Experience supporting businesses through change or transformation What's On Offer?
