the Role

Location:
Manchester (hybrid)
Contract:
15 month FTC
We are hiring an Investment Administrator to support a team of Investment Managers within our Manchester office. This is a varied and important support role, working closely with the Investment Managers to deliver a high-quality service to private clients, financial advisers, professional partners and other third parties. The role would suit someone who is organised, professional, detail-focused and takes pride in producing accurate work within clearly defined processes.
You do not need to be an investment specialist, but you should be comfortable working in a busy, client-focused environment, eager to learn new systems and willing to develop a good understanding of how an investment management team operates. The role sits within Investment Management but is focused on administration, client service and operational support. This is a 15-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover.
While the role is offered on a fixed-term basis, there may be scope for future opportunities within the team or wider business for a candidate who performs well, subject to business needs. The role is based in our Manchester office (minimum 3 days). Regular office presence will be essential, so that the successful candidate can learn the role, build relationships and become effective quickly and work with minimal supervision.
