Relationship Manager

Own a portfolio of clients from day one. You'll make real funding decisions, build relationships that last years, and be trusted to manage things your way.

You'll have your own portfolio of clients, and it will be genuinely yours. You'll monitor how each client is performing, make funding decisions based on what you see, and give every client the kind of personal service that keeps them with Apollo for years.

You'll work with clients and their customers daily, alongside our credit control and risk teams, with the backing of a business that trusts you to make the call.

• Run your own portfolio of clients, end to end
• Balance risk so the debt we purchase is recoverable
• Review invoices and supporting documentation to confirm debts are fundable before funding
• Build strong client relationships and keep service levels high, so retention stays high and attrition stays low
• Manage client ledgers with our credit control team to keep debts collectable
• Set and review debtor credit limits as things change
• Read your client stats, spot what they're telling you, and act on it
• Take part in portfolio risk meetings

• Commercial judgement, and the confidence to make decisions
• Ownership: you take responsibility and work independently
• Active listening and excellent communication
• Accuracy, diligence and real attention to detail
• A team mindset, because portfolios are yours but the job is shared
• The drive to manage your own development
• UK Finance qualifications are nice to have, and genuinely not required
