Purchase Ledger Clerk

We are hiring a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join an excellent business based in Warwick - they are already a well established, true market leader in their sector and have ambitious plans to continue their growth - it's a really exciting time to be joining them! They are a tight knit finance team where you’ll feel part of the family from day one - you’ll work closely with the Financial Controller and become a key part of the day-to-day finance operation.

The company uses its own bespoke system, and you’ll get full training on this right away - they do also use MS Excel and would like candidates to be confident is using this. This is a business that genuinely invests in its people. If you’re looking to study, then the business will look at supporting you with this - but this isn't an expectation as half the team are Qualified by Experience.

Duties Will Include:
Oversee the daily running of the Purchase Ledger Processing invoices & supplier payments Reconcile supplier accounts and intercompany balances Handle supplier payments, credit card transactions and employee expenses Act as a reliable contact for supplier queries Support external audits with clear, organised documentation Assist with wider finance tasks including month-end support for the Financial Controller Suitable Candidates Will Have / Be:
Have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience processing Purchase Ledger Hold an AAT Qualification would be an advantage but not essential A good knowledge of MS Excel Proactive team player with a flexible approach Strong grasp of core accounting principles and P2P processes This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious, ever growing but already hugely established business with real ambition!
