The company we’re recruiting for has been established for nearly 40 years and has built its reputation around long-term client relationships Unlike some larger firms, where clients may deal with several different departments, this business focuses on providing a dedicated adviser who works closely with clients over the long term. This is a business that has successfully navigated multiple market cycles, from the market boom and crash of the 1980s, through the 2008 financial crisis and Covid.

There’s also a generous bonus structure, with an OTE of around £100,000 potentially achievable within your first year. In terms of your background, you’ll need to have achieved the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, along with at least five years’ relevant experience. Below is a small overview of what you’ll be doing… Build strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial goals and recommending suitable, tailored solutions.

Proactively use cashflow modelling software to present and explain planning outcomes in a clear, client-friendly way. Manage your own client portfolio, including regular reviews, ongoing advice and compliance with all regulatory requirements. Actively pursue new business opportunities, including referrals from existing clients and networking. Maintain up to date knowledge of market developments, legislation, and FCA/Openwork guidance.
