Management Accountant

We are working with an exciting organisation based in Uxbridge who are looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join their established Finance team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified, part-qualified or QBE accountant who wants to develop their commercial exposure and become a true Finance Business Partner to the wider business. What makes this role exciting? This isn't a role where you'll simply prepare month-end accounts and move on to the next task. You'll have the opportunity to get under the skin of the business, challenge performance, identify trends and make recommendations that can genuinely improve commercial results.

You'll have regular interaction with senior stakeholders and operational teams, giving you excellent exposure across the wider organisation.

The Role You'll take ownership of the month-end process across operational sites, including:
Preparing monthly P&L accounts by project and site Managing accruals, prepayments and month-end journals Conducting monthly financial performance reviews with department heads, operational teams and Project Managers Providing commercial analysis and business partnering to non-finance stakeholders Analysing performance against budget and prior year Identifying trends, efficiencies and opportunities to improve financial performance Supporting the preparation of budgets, forecasts and long-range planning What we're looking for We're open to candidates from a range of backgrounds and would consider:
Previous experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar finance role Experience working across multiple sites or projects would be advantageous Strong Excel skills, ideally at an intermediate/advanced level The opportunity This is a great role for a Management Accountant who wants t o move beyond the numbers and play a more influential role within a business.
