Full-Time 35 hours per week The Opportunity Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join their established finance team in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised finance professional to play a key role within a diverse and growing organisation operating across multiple sectors. Working closely with the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will support a broad range of finance and bookkeeping activities whilst helping to ensure the smooth running of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities Processing supplier invoices using Sage 200 Assisting with month-end accounting processes Bank and credit card reconciliations Supplier statement and account reconciliations Allocating customer and supplier payments Preparing payment runs Credit control and debt collection activities Processing inter company recharges Supporting day-to-day finance administration and reporting Maintaining accurate financial records About You You'll be an experienced finance professional who enjoys working in a varied role and can manage multiple priorities effectively.

Essential Requirements Minimum 5 year's experience within a finance, accounts or bookkeeping role Previous Sage 200 experience Strong Microsoft Excel skills Experience using accounting software Payroll experience Excellent attention to detail Strong organisational and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and use initiative Confident communication skills Benefits Flexible working arrangements available Employer pension contribution 29 days annual leave plus Christmas This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance Assistant looking to join a supportive and stable organisation where they can make a meaningful contribution to the wider business.
