Accounts Assistant

We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our Client in their established and growing Finance Team in Manchester. What You’ll Be Doing:
Supporting the day-to-day running of the finance function across a range of accounting activities Processing purchase and sales invoices and maintaining accurate financial records Assisting with bank, supplier, and customer account reconciliations Supporting the preparation of journals, accruals, and prepayments Assisting with month-end procedures and management reporting Investigating and resolving account queries and discrepancies Liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve financial queries Providing general support to the wider finance team and assisting with ad-hoc projects

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role Good understanding of general accounting processes and financial administration

Experience with reconciliations, invoice processing, and maintaining accurate financial records Good Excel and IT skills with the ability to learn new finance systems quickly Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Well organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to develop within a finance career Benefits on
