Managing Director - Corporate Finance​/M&A

MDM Resourcing is working on a retained basis with an established and ambitious corporate finance advisory business seeking to appoint a Managing Director to develop and grow its M&A activities in the North West.

The firm has a strong reputation in its chosen markets and provides an entrepreneurial environment in which senior individuals are encouraged to develop their own client relationships, originate transactions and build successful advisory businesses.

This is an opportunity for an experienced corporate finance professional to take a leading role in developing the firm's regional presence, with considerable autonomy and the opportunity to benefit directly from the commercial success of the business.

• Originate and lead mid-market M&A transactions, working with shareholders, management teams, private equity investors and other stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with business owners, advisers, investors and other sources of transaction opportunities.
• Build a sustainable pipeline of new business and take responsibility for converting opportunities into completed transactions.
• Lead transactions from initial engagement through to successful completion.
• Contribute to the strategic development and continued growth of the business in the North West.

We are interested in speaking with experienced Corporate Finance Directors, Managing Directors and Partners who have:

• A strong track record in M&A lead advisory, ideally within the mid-market.
• Demonstrable experience of originating transactions and developing client relationships.
• An established professional network, ideally across the North West.
• The commercial ambition and entrepreneurial approach to develop a substantial advisory business.
• The credibility and technical experience to advise business owners and investors on significant transactions.

The opportunity may also appeal to an ambitious Director who has already demonstrated the ability to originate work and is looking for greater autonomy, responsibility and a more direct relationship between personal performance and financial reward.
