Barbering Apprenticeship

Introduction

On completion of this qualification you will be able to shampoo and condition hair, cut hair using barbering techniques, style and finish hair, cut facial hair into shape and provide shaving services for men.

A busy barbers on the main parade in central Urmston. The shop has been open for more than 50 years and the head barber has been cutting hair for 30 years, though he has been based countrywide. We're a modern environment, aimed at professionals though we're proud to be inclusive and our breadth of experience enables us to adapt to many hair types and every type of client, not forgetting the small ones.

The head barber is also trained in counselling and brings a thoughtful, listening centred approach to client care. Over the many years of cutting hair here, clients have become friends making for a lovely place to work. we do a great coffee too!

An apprentice barber assists experienced barbers, while learning essential skills in hair cutting, styling, and customer service.

On successful completion of this qualification, you may wish to complete another qualification appropriate to your personal development. This can include Hairdressing Level 2.
