Employment

Permanent, full‑time, 37.5 hours per week.

Salary range (pro‑rata for part‑time): £27,861.26 – £32,002.35.

Responsibilities
  • Provide unwavering support to service users from initial contact through their treatment and recovery journey.
  • Implement tailored interventions to reduce harm from substance use, through group sessions or one‑on‑one engagement.
  • Ensure a comprehensive recovery‑focused detoxification plan, including pre‑detox preparation and post‑care support.
  • Collaborate with other organisations and the community, referring users to mutual‑aid groups and other networks.
  • Advocate for the involvement of family members, users and the community.
  • Serve as a voice to secure partnership services for users.
  • Work closely to facilitate users’ social (re) integration, promoting recovery resilience, peer support and self‑determination.
About You
  • Knowledge and experience delivering substance‑use interventions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proficient IT skills.
  • Proactive independent worker with strong time‑management and prioritisation.
  • Strong understanding of mental health interventions, services and best practices.
  • Supportive team player with exceptional interpersonal skills, collaborating with diverse professionals, agencies and stakeholders.
  • Ability to navigate change effectively, prioritising users’ needs.
  • Commitment to information governance safeguards.
  • Continuous learner, enhancing professional knowledge while contributing to colleagues’ growth.
