Job Role PA needed to assist young man to go out in community Swinton NA-SC-001.

Job Description:

You will provide one-to-one support to help the individual enjoy community activities, develop confidence, and make independent choices in a safe and encouraging environment.

Contract Type: Part Time Permanent

• Accompany the individual to places such as cafés, shops, parks, cinemas, and local events.
• Support with attending social groups and community activities.
• Help plan outings and provide transport, or support with public transport if required.
• Accompany and assist during gym sessions or physical activities.
• Encourage independence by supporting the individual to make their own choices.
• Support social interaction and confidence‑building in community settings.
• Provide reassurance and emotional support when out and about.
• Ensure safety at all times, including awareness of surroundings, traffic, and busy areas.

How will the hours be used: 4 hrs person support on Thursday every week – 2 hrs at charity shop, 2 hrs for travel to and from client’s house to charity shop, and to travel to local amenities after volunteering
