Overview

An exciting training opportunity has arisen for an experienced individual passionate about Dermatology Biologics to join our friendly and supportive team of nurses and Consultants at MFT as a band 6.

Responsibilities
  • Run nurse-led biologics clinics to support the service.
  • Deputise for the nursing manager when required.
  • Provide specialist dermatology advice to assess, plan and implement patient care and deliver programmes of care and education to patients with inflammatory skin disease treated with topical, systemic and biologic therapies.
  • Prescribe, screen, educate, advise and follow up to support patients to manage their conditions effectively, improving quality of life.
  • Act as a resource and support for local GPs, Community Nurses and Home care Pharmacy teams.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Experienced and passionate about Dermatology Biologics.
  • Motivated and able to mentor junior staff and students.
  • Willing to support and mentor junior staff and students and assist the wider team in the development and expansion of our dermatology clinical services.
  • Full time, fixed term (12 months) with view of permanent.
  • Work Monday to Friday across WTWA four sites.
