About the Role

As a Carer / Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care in line with best practice, legislation, and agreed care plans, supporting individuals within their own homes.

You will:

* Deliver person-centred care tailored to each individual’s needs and preferences

* Support daily living tasks such as personal care, dressing, bathing, eating and mobility

* Promote independence, wellbeing and community involvement

* Follow care plans and report any changes in needs or concerns

* Work collaboratively with families, colleagues and healthcare professionals

* Uphold safeguarding, dignity, and respect at all times

* Maintain accurate care records and attend required training to keep skills up to date

Shifts vary and include evenings, weekends and year-round support.

What We’re Looking For

Essential

- Driving licence and access to a car

- Good written and spoken English

- Caring, friendly and reliable nature

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to adapt and respond to changing situations

- Commitment to training, safeguarding and quality care

Desirable

DBS registered on the update service

Previous experience in care or a similar environment

RQF/NVQ qualification in Health & Social Care

Experience supporting individuals with additional or complex needs
