Qualified Adult Social Worker – Mental Health Team within Mental Health in Viking Works (UK), earning £30.00 hourly. This is an ongoing position for a Social Worker required for the Adult North Community Mental Health Team. Set in the picturesque location of Viking Works, this initial 6-month assignment offers both full-time and part-time options. You will work closely with health and social care colleagues.

What you will do:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments in line with the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005, ensuring the best outcomes for adults in the community.
• Manage safeguarding concerns and enquiries in accordance with Section 42 of the Care Act, ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable individuals.
• Navigate the CHC processes, including completing checklists and participating in MDT/Decision Support Tool meetings.
• Collaborate effectively with health and social care colleagues, contributing to a dynamic and balanced team.
• Utilise your initiative to drive positive outcomes and advocate for adults within the North Community Mental Health Team.
