Our Surgical and Trauma divisions are expanding, and we are seeking committed and compassionate Nursing Assistants to join multidisciplinary teams across several key inpatient areas.
- Ward F7 – Elective & Acute Surgery – Supporting pre‑ and post‑operative patients, delivering high‑quality care within a busy surgical environment.
- Ward A3 – Silver Trauma Unit – Providing specialist care for elective and trauma patients with dedicated silver trauma beds.
- Ward A4 & A6 – Acute Surgical Units – A fast‑paced assessment area receiving patients with urgent surgical needs.
- Nightingale Breast Surgery Centre – Delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred breast care within one of the UK’s leading specialist services.
- Provide personal care: washing, mobilising, toileting, and assisting with eating & drinking.
- Monitor and record observations, performing ECGs and venepuncture following completion of the Support Worker Development Programme.
- Assist with delegated clinical duties such as recording patient observations and monitoring changes to patient conditions.
- Support the multidisciplinary team in delivering safe, compassionate, and person‑centred care.
- Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment and support mobilisation and rehabilitation activities.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Caring, motivated, and eager to learn.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Demonstrate reliability, compassion, and professionalism.
- Experience in a healthcare support role (desirable but not essential).
- Able to work flexibly across early, late, and night shifts during weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays.
- Committed to completing the Health Care Apprenticeship and Trust induction programme for those seeking their first role in healthcare.
