Band 3 School Health Screener – Screening Team

As part of a service transformation, an exciting opportunity has arisen in Manchester’s School Nursing service. We are looking for an enthusiastic School Health Screener to work as part of a team to deliver the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP) and the core screening programme offered at school entry.
Hours
: 37.5 hours – Term Time Only
Responsibilities
:
- Contribute to the planning of the NCMP and Core Screening Programmes for school‑age children in a variety of settings under supervision.
- Deliver the NCMP and Core Screening programme in schools and other settings.
- Accurately record and document test outcomes, make appropriate referrals when indicated, and advise parents on test results and any required actions or interventions.
- Provide administrative support related to all aspects of work undertaken within the Manchester Child Health record.
