Manchester Local Care Organisation are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and compassionate Trainee Screening Technician with good communication skills to join the Greater Manchester, East Cheshire & Glossop Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening Programme (GMECAAASP) – a successful, innovative and friendly screening team, based at an agreed local AAA Screening venue closest to your home in Greater Manchester.

You will be required to work at multiple sites across the Greater Manchester, East Cheshire & Glossop regions, transporting necessary equipment to clinics. It is essential that you are able to travel independently to fulfil the requirements of the post. The ability to meet the travel requirements of the role are essential, therefore the post holder must have access to a car with business insurance and a clean driving licence.

This is a AFC Band 4 role (Band 3 whilst training, Band 4 upon semi‑independent accreditation) for 22.5 hours per week, flexibly worked Monday – Friday office hours with the occasional early evening or weekend.
