Junior Sister / Charge Nurse - Paediatrics (BMTU/ Ward 79)

The Bone Marrow Transplant unit is an innovative area to work within Royal Manchester Children's Hospital. Completing over 50 transplants a year with patients travelling from all over Europe to attend the unit. We pride ourselves on the care delivered to all of our patients and have achieved silver standard for two consecutive years. We are divided across two ward areas with 7 Hepa filtered beds on BMTU and currently 9 beds on ward 79 that support both Gene therapy and CAR‑T administration.
We are looking for individuals committed to supporting a large team using our "What Matters To Me" approach. In return we will provide a comprehensive induction programme and you will be appraised on a yearly basis with a view to developing knowledge and skills where appropriate whilst clinically rotating between our two units. The Children's Hospital is based in the vibrant and exciting city of Manchester with easy access to airport and rail services and the door to a range of career opportunities.
We offer on‑site parking for nursing staff and provide staff with a bespoke induction programme and a supernumerary period.
