We are seeking dedicated individuals to support vulnerable adults across a variety of settings, including residential care, supported living services, and specialist care environments.
The RoleAs a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals to live independently, safely, and with dignity. This is a hands‑on and rewarding role suited to individuals who are empathetic, resilient, and committed to maintaining high standards of care.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver Person-Centred Care
Provide tailored support in line with individual care plans
Promote independence, choice, and inclusion
Assist with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, and mobility support where required
Support with medication prompts (in line with training and policy)Monitor and report changes in physical or mental health
Encourage engagement in social and community activities
Behaviour & Emotional SupportSupport individuals who may present behaviours of concern
Apply de‑escalation techniques where required
Maintain a calm, professional approach in challenging situations
Professional Standards & ComplianceFollow safeguarding, health & safety, and infection control procedures
Work collaboratively with colleagues and multidisciplinary teams
Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times
What We’re Looking ForPrevious experience in a support or care role (preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A caring, patient, and resilient approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and nights if required
Strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
