We're looking for an experienced and compassionate Children's Support Worker / Domiciliary Care Assistant to support a young person with additional needs in the Sale area. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys helping children build confidence, have fun, and access activities safely while receiving high-quality, person-centred care.
The Role:
- Part-time role
- 9:00am – 6:00pm
- Monday to Friday only – no weekends
- Based in Trafford
- Working as part of a supportive care team
- Supporting the young person at home and in the community
- Accompanying them on outings, activities and day trips
- Assisting with mobility and wheelchair handling
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect
- Creating a safe, engaging and enjoyable environment

What We're Looking For This role is ideal for someone who is energetic, patient and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
Essential requirements:
- Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs
- Experience supporting non-verbal children or young people
- A caring, reliable and positive approach
- Confidence working as part of a team
- Physically able to assist with wheelchair handling
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (business insurance will be required)
