About the Role We are seeking a friendly, organised, and professional Receptionist to join our healthcare team across our Surrey sites. As the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of reception services. Full training will be provided, along with opportunities for ongoing development within a supportive healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities Provide a warm and professional welcome to patients, visitors, and staff. Manage front-of-house reception duties across multiple sites. Answer telephone enquiries, resolve patient queries, and direct calls appropriately. Book appointments, issue confirmations, and send reminders. Maintain accurate patient records and complete electronic filing of correspondence and results. Process patient referrals and bookings using the Patient Administration System. Liaise with GP surgeries and healthcare professionals regarding patient information and test results.

Support appointment scheduling to minimise missed or cancelled appointments. Assist patients and visitors as required, including escorting them to clinics or wards. Open and close sites when rostered for early, late, or Saturday shifts. Work closely with colleagues to ensure the efficient operation of services. Undertake any additional duties appropriate to the role. Requirements Essential Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a busy environment. Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office. Flexibility to work across Epsom and Cobham sites. Availability to work shifts between 7:00am and 7:00pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays. Right to work in the UK. Desirable Previous reception, administration, or healthcare experience. Understanding of patient confidentiality and healthcare procedures.
