Locum Opportunity for Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse in Adults CMHT, North Manchester, earning £26 Hourly, Ongoing

Your role will involve core hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with plenty of flexibility available.

What you will do:
  • Manage a defined caseload of clients with complex physical and mental health needs in the community, utilising evidence-based, client-centred principles.
  • Record all interventions in line with relevant clinical pathways as outlined within the CMHT operational procedure.
  • Provide professional advice and support to junior staff and support staff.
  • Actively participate in the planning, development, and evaluation of the CMHT service with the designated team.
  • Offer guidance and supervision to students on fieldwork placements.
  • Abide by the Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct for your professional body.
  • Engage in the duty rota operated by the Community Mental Health Team.
Experience

Required:

Candidates should have a degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing, with experience working as a Mental Health Nurse. An NMC Registration is essential, and familiarity with GMMH systems and existing access to Paris are preferable.
