Role Overview As a Support Worker (HCA / Support Staff), you will join our team to provide compassionate, person-centred support across two nursing homes in Dursley (GL11). You will support residents with daily living needs, promote dignity and independence, and work as part of a caring rota system covering days and nights.

Key Responsibilities Provide personal care and support with daily living activities Support residents with mobility, meals, and hydration Maintain comfort, dignity, and privacy at all times Support care plans as directed by clinical staff Assist with routine checks and report concerns promptly Work effectively as part of the wider care team on shift Follow all policies, procedures, and safeguarding requirements Contribute to a positive, respectful and supportive environment Shift Pattern Opportunities across rotas for both nursing homes 6-hour and 12-hour shifts Days & nights Flexible scheduling (subject to rota requirements) Requirements Experience as a Support Worker / HCA / Support Staff (desirable) Compassionate approach and strong understanding of person-centred care Ability to work reliably across rotas, including nights where required Commitment to confidentiality and safe working practices Right to work in the UK (note: no sponsorship available)
