Band 7 Locum MRI Radiographer - Manchester

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Band 7 Locum MRI Radiographer to join our team in Manchester. This temporary position offers a competitive rate of £30.00 per hour, with a commitment of 40 hours per week. The role is available for an initial duration of 3 months, with an immediate start. Responsibilities:

As a Band 7 Locum MRI Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. You will operate and manage advanced MRI equipment, work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and treatment, and maintain comprehensive patient records. Your role also includes adhering to safety protocols and contributing to the overall efficiency of the radiology department.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
  • Current registration with the HCPC.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Radiographer, preferably at Band 7 level.
  • Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and conducting a variety of scans.
  • Strong understanding of MRI safety and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing high standards of patient care and continuous professional development.
