We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Pharmacy Assistant to join the Pharmacy team at The Christie Private Care, an Outstanding service at the forefront of private cancer care, as rated by CQC.
As part of the world’s largest private healthcare group; providing award winning primary, acute and complex care, The Christie Private Care provides advanced cancer care and houses the world’s largest early clinical trials unit. Our specialist team treat private patients using a full range of diagnostic, inpatient, surgical, day care and outpatient treatment all on one site.
As a key member of the pharmacy team, you will play an important role in delivering safe, efficient and patient-focused pharmacy services. Working under the guidance of senior colleagues, you will ensure a high standard of operational support that consistently meets the needs of patients, clinicians and wider stakeholders.
In this varied and hands-on role, you will contribute to core pharmacy operations including dispensary services, stock control and management, medicines distribution, and ward top-up services. You will collaborate closely with Pharmacy Technicians to maintain exceptional professional standards and outstanding patient care. You will also contribute to the delivery of departmental Key Performance Indicators and support the ongoing continuous improvement and development of the pharmacy service.

Whatyou’ll bring:
Pharmacy NVQ2 (Desirable or willingness to enrol)
Prior experience working in a hospital pharmacy
Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
