Lead with Compassion, Care with Purpose We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietician to join the team on a part time basis. Salary for this role is £50k on a full time basis. However, this role is based on 16 hours per week pro rata £. Waterloo Manor Hospital is the largest female personality disorder service in the United Kingdom, providing specialized assessment and treatment for women with complex mental health needs.

Job Purpose To assess, diagnose, and manage patients’ nutritional needs, providing evidence-based dietary advice to support recovery, improve health outcomes, and promote overall wellbeing. Clinical Assessment & Care
· Assess patients’ nutritional status and dietary needs
· Develop and implement personalised nutrition care plans
· Monitor and review patient progress, adjusting plans as needed
· Provide specialist advice for patients with conditions such as diabetes, obesity, and eating disorders Patient Support & Education
· Educate patients, families, and carers on healthy eating and nutrition
· Support behaviour change and promote long-term healthy habits
· Deliver one-to-one consultations and group education sessions Multidisciplinary Working
· Work closely with doctors, nurses, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals
· Contribute to patient care plans and clinical reviews
· Provide nutritional input during ward rounds and case discussions Documentation & Administration
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
· Use electronic health systems to document care and outcomes
· Prepare reports and contribute to audits or service evaluations Health Promotion
· Support public health initiatives and nutritional awareness programmes
· Develop resources such as meal plans, leaflets, and guidance materials Person Specification Essential

Qualifications & Skills
· Degree in Dietetics or Nutrition
· Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
· Strong communication and counselling skills
· Ability to interpret clinical data and apply nutritional science
· Good organisational and time-management skills Desirable
· Experience in a clinical or mental health setting
· Knowledge of specialist diets (e.g. enteral feeding, weight management)
