- Conduct Haematology and Blood Transfusion testing and analysis with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure compliance with NHS standards, laboratory protocols, and safety regulations.
- Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Work collaboratively with Biomedical Scientists and multidisciplinary teams to support efficient laboratory operations.
- Document, interpret, and report findings accurately for clinical review and patient management.
- Participate in quality assurance processes and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
- Support the delivery of timely and reliable diagnostic services across multiple laboratory locations.
- HCPC Registration: Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is essential.
- Relevant
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' NHS experience within Haematology and Blood Transfusion. - Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures, quality standards, and diagnostic equipment.
- Communication
Skills:
Excellent communication and organisational abilities. - Driving Licence: Preferred due to travel requirements between multiple sites.
