As a staff nurse at MFT you’ll be expected to work within the NMC code of Professional Conduct working throughout the department in Majors Assessment, Ambulatory Care, our Rapid Assessment Unit (Ambulance Triage) and RESUS utilizing state-of-the-art equipment to ensure that all our patients are seen efficiently and effectively, meeting all their clinical needs within the 4 hour target. As a major trauma center we work closely with North West Ambulance Service.

duties of the job
The post holder will prioritise, assess, plan, evaluate and deliver all relevant aspects of care to an agreed and expected high standard. Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the clinical governance process. Act as a mentor/preceptor to junior staff, with specific responsibility for pre-registration students. Participate fully in a structured competency based programmes, as required while working in all areas of the Emergency Department.
