Important Details Before Applying

• Evening & Weekend Availability: We require availability for at least 2 evenings a week and alternate weekends

• Driver’s License: It’s essential to be a driver with access to a personal vehicle insured with Class A Business Insurance to fulfill this role.

Care Assistant responsibilities:

Being a Care Professional is a highly rewarding career where no two days are the same! With minimum 1 hour care visits and client matching, you have the time to provide high quality, person-focused care.

Duties can include:

• Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
• Personal care - supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent
• Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
• Accompanying to appointments or shopping.

It is ESSENTIAL be a driver with access to a vehicle insured in your name with Class A Business Insurance.

Formal care experience is not required. Experience is also welcomed.

We need you to CARE for others and be happy in YOUR career. We need you to help us to support our clients by providing the highest quality of care so that they can continue to live safe, well and as independently as possible in their own homes. We, as a company, will care for you!

It is ESSENTIAL to have GCSE level English or equivalent.

It is ESSENTIAL to be resident within Salford (non-Salford postcodes will fall into other Home Instead Office’s territories).

- we provide full training. Your passion for taking care of someone else, being friendly whilst staying professional and your references will show that you are dependable, trust-worthy and respectful.

IMPORTANT TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLICATION
- Our Care Assistants are required to work at least 2 evenings and alternative weekends
. Core hours are between 8am- 1pm and 4.45pm - 9.30pm, although there is potential to increase hours beyond these times.

You must be over 18.
