About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to work day shifts to provide high-quality support to individuals in the care home. The successful candidate will assist with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure the well-being of those in their care. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive difference in people's lives through personalised care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support individuals with mobility and daily activities to promote independence
  • Follow personalised care plans to meet each client's specific needs
  • Encourage social interaction and engagement to enhance mental well-being
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in condition
  • Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
  • Support clients with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals
About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience working in a residential care setting or providing home care.
  • Can follow detailed care plans accurately
  • Has good communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
  • Has basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation
  • Can communicate well to build rapport with clients and team members
  • Is compassionate with a genuine desire to support others
  • Is organised, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a care team
