Kitchen Assistant

We are now looking for Kitchen Assistant-cook to join our team, Food and Beverage is what adds flavour to a stay! Guests love to enjoy delicious, freshly-prepared and beautifully presented food. To deliver a great guest experience.

• To ensure all food preparation exceeds company and brand standards
• Ensure kitchen health & safety procedures are adhered to
• To ensure that all production areas comply with the required, hygiene, sanitation and cleanliness standards
• To carry out administrative duties as required by the policies and procedures of the hotel e.g. Kitchen diary, temperature control, maintenance request lists, etc.
• Ensure correct stock rotation on all sections, fridges, freezers & dry stores
• Check food stock levels of items to be ordered
• Ensure there is limited wastage and correct procedures are followed
• Dealing efficiently with day to day guest service queries throughout breakfast and food serving periods
• Clear/clean tables, buffet and kitchen
• Other ad hoc duties as and when required
• Report anything considered a health and safety hazard
• Prevent abuse and/or destruction of hotel property
• Be flexible at all times in order to cover the unexpected needs
• Responsible for looking after Hotel property at all times
• Ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
• To attend all relevant training as and when required
• To ensure that the company dress code is always adhered to

• Ideally you will have worked in a hospitality/food and beverage environment and be able to demonstrate initiative
• You will be someone who has a reputation for delivering great service and being fun to work with
• You will be committed to working on a weekly rota basis, which includes shift work and working weekends
