Night Guest Services Team Member - Townhouse Hotel

Are you a night owl who loves the quiet buzz of the late hours? Join our team and keep the magic of the hotel running smoothly while the world sleeps, working from 10.30 pm until 7 am!

This is a part‑time role from 24hrs a week, which includes weekends.

• Welcome late‑arriving guests with a friendly smile and help them settle in, handling check‑ins, check‑outs, and everything in between.
• Serve late drinks at the bar, prepare the 24‑hour menu and serve as and when guests require.
• Handle night audits and end‑of‑day reports, keeping things organised and ready for the morning crew.
• Be the go‑to for any guest requests during the night, whether it’s room service or an extra pillow, bringing comfort even in the wee hours.
• Keep the lobby and public areas tidy and welcoming, setting up the hotel for a fresh start each morning.
• Monitor safety and security through regular checks, ensuring guests enjoy a peaceful night's stay.
• Set up the conference rooms ready for the next day’s business, including coffee stations and hoovering the space.
• Prepare breakfast and have it set up and ready for the first guest at 7 am so the guest has a great start to the day.
• Coordinate with the early‑morning team to hand off a seamless shift, so everyone’s ready to take on the day.

The Townhouse Hotel is located on Manchester’s historic Portland Street, in Manchester’s vibrant city centre. The hotel features 85 en‑suite bedrooms and a prestigious history dating back to the industrial revolution. All are air‑conditioned and range from the intimate boardroom set up of the Worthington Room, to the corporate surroundings of the Waterhouse Suite with capacity for up to 44 delegates.
