Payroll Administrator

Role Overview

NC Associates are working in partnership with a PE backed organisation based in central Manchester to help recruit an experienced Payroll Administrator who can support the payroll team in providing accurate weekly and monthly payroll. As a Payroll Administrator you will provide full end to end payroll across a number of entities within the group business supporting the payroll team and senior finance team.

This is an exciting time for the organisation which can see long term opportunities for the right individual.

Payroll Administrator Responsibilities:
  • Support the Payroll Team to ensure all payroll deadlines are met
  • Deal with all payroll related queries
  • Process high-volume, end-to-end payroll accurately
  • Processing both weekly and monthly payroll for circa 500 employees
  • Manage statutory payments including SSP, SMP, SPP, PAYE & NI
  • Liaise with HMRC when required
  • Process starters, leavers and monthly timesheets
  • Complete manual calculations and calculate back pay
  • Ensure accurate information is recorded for HR and Finance
  • Liaise with managers and pension providers to ensure correct data
Payroll Administrator

Required Experience:

To be successful in your application for this role you
MUST
have the following experience

  • Previous experience within a similar role within Payroll
  • 1–2 years’ experience within a busy payroll function
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage high-volume workloads
  • Good Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
  • Good communicational skills
  • Can do attitude
