This role offers the opportunity to work closely with managers across the business, providing practical HR advice and supporting a wide range of people initiatives.

Working within a collaborative HR function, you will partner with leaders across the organisation to support effective people management, employee engagement and continuous improvement. You will build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business while supporting the delivery of HR strategies aligned to organisational objectives.

This role is particularly suited to someone who enjoys a visible and varied HR role, partnering with managers in a fast-paced environment and supporting both day-to-day HR matters and wider HR initiatives.

Key responsibilities of the HR Advisor / HR Business Partner:

Provide HR advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters, policies and employment legislation.

Build strong working relationships with managers and stakeholders across the organisation.

Support the management of complex employee and industrial relations matters.

Support organisational initiatives, projects, and change programmes.

Work with stakeholders to improve employee engagement and organisational performance.

Deliver training and guidance to managers to strengthen people management capability.

Key requirements of the HR Advisor / HR Business Partner:

Previous experience operating in an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner role.

Strong understanding of employee relations and employment legislation.

Experience partnering with managers and stakeholders across a business.

Experience supporting HR projects, change initiatives or organisational development.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Ideally CIPD qualified or working towards qualification.

Experience working in unionised or operational environments would be advantageous.
