Interlink is a specialist in legal recruitment, and due to high demand from top-tier law firms, we are seeking Trainee Recruitment Consultants to join our busy, supportive team in the heart of Manchester.
This role provides an outstanding opportunity for recent graduates or professionals from a sales/commercial background to develop a high-value skillset and achieve significant uncapped earnings.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Trainee, you will receive bespoke training to develop into a Recruitment Consultant. Your initial responsibilities, supporting senior colleagues, will focus on:
- Candidate Sourcing & Networking (Resourcing):
Identifying and engaging with high-calibre legal professionals (from Paralegals to Senior Solicitors) across the UK using advanced recruitment tools, Linked In, professional networks, and direct headhunting. - Talent Engagement:
Conducting initial screening calls with candidates to assess their experience, career aspirations, and suitability for roles, focusing on building long-term relationships. - Market Intelligence:
Conducting research on the UK legal market, including competitor analysis and identifying new hiring trends and potential client opportunities. - Client Communication Support:
Assisting experienced consultants with preparing client pitches, drafting compelling job advertisements, and managing the initial stages of the recruitment process. - Administrative Excellence:
Maintaining and updating the company's CRM (Customer Relationship Management) database with accurate, real-time information to ensure efficient process management. - Interview Process Management:
Coordinating and scheduling interviews, managing candidate expectations, and preparing candidates for client meetings.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work to targets, and be highly organised. - Academic/Professional Background:
Ideally degree-educated (in any subject) or possess relevant commercial/sales experience (e.g., B2B sales, targeted customer service).
