HR Data, Insights & Systems Analyst, 12 Month FTC, £45,000 Per Annum, Manchester

Macmillan Davies is delighted to be working with a global and innovative professional services firm that is looking for an HR Systems and Data Insights Analyst to join their growing team in Manchester on a 12‑Month FTC. This role supports HR operations by combining data reporting and process improvement, working closely with HR and business stakeholders to ensure effective, aligned and fit‑for‑purpose HR systems and insights.

Main

duties include:
  • Maintain accurate, reliable and compliant HR data, systems and reporting.
  • Develop and deliver dashboards, reports and insights to support informed decision‑making.
  • Support the administration, maintenance and continuous improvement of HR systems and processes.
  • Analyse HR data to identify trends, risks and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Contribute to HR systems projects, upgrades and enhancements, ensuring successful delivery and adoption.
  • Collaborate with HR, IT and business stakeholders to improve reporting, system functionality and operational efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement through best practice in HR analytics, reporting and process optimisation.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Proven experience in HR analytics, HR systems or a similar data‑focused role.
  • Strong skills in Power BI, Excel and HR reporting.
  • Experience creating dashboards and data visualisations.
  • Confident analysing large datasets and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience working with HR systems and reporting tools;
    Workday experience is essential.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Customer‑focused, collaborative and able to work independently.
  • Comfortable working to tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
