Responsibilities
- Ensure all HR/Employment Law documentation is compliant with current legislation.
- Provide the highest level of support for clients.
- Complete and return work to clients within a reasonable timescale (two weeks from visit date).
- Always portray a professional image throughout duties.
- Keep knowledge updated through CPD.
- Travel within the UK to carry out annual audits of clients HR procedures and management systems (including occasional extensive travel and overnight stays).
- Compile formal policies and procedures for distribution to clients.
- Compile Statements of Main Terms & Conditions of Employment and Employee Handbooks for clients.
- Assist with preparation of letters/documentation for disciplinary, grievances, etc. as required by the client or company.
- Provide clients with up-to-date and accurate advice on HR/Employment Law topics, ensuring compliance with legislation and LFA.
- Carry out formal meetings on the client’s behalf such as disciplinary investigations, appeals, etc.
- Liaise with solicitors/ACAS on behalf of the client.
- Provide additional information/assistance/documentation as requested.
- Carry out additional visits where requested by the client or business.
- Minimum 2 years HR experience.
- Preferably CIPD Level 5 qualification.
- Member of the CIPD.
- Full driving licence required to allow travel throughout the UK as and when required.
