Join a dynamic, fast‑growing team that advises global clients on the people side of M&A, from due diligence to post‑deal integration.

Responsibilities
  • Lead client delivery and support practice development for the Technology in M&A team.
  • Demonstrate credibility and experience to advise and deliver on complex I&S deals involving cross‑functional teams.
  • Prepare, plan, and deliver HR M&A programmes and HR due diligence.
  • Lead and support clients through strategy development, organisational design, people transitions, employee experience, and synergy/cost‑analysis programmes arising from acquisitions, divestitures, carve‑outs and other transactions.
  • Deliver or review high‑quality transaction reports and other M&A documentation, including HR due diligence and Transitional Service Agreements.
  • Provide deep insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Lead client meetings and interviews and act as primary point of contact across the engagement.
  • Build and expand client relationships with large corporates.
  • Interface with senior internal and external stakeholders, including key C‑level executives at clients.
  • Deploy I&S and Deal Advisory technology on projects to reduce cost and improve delivery where appropriate.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Significant experience in a consulting firm or industry delivering HR, organisational design or strategy programmes in an M&A environment, including:
    • HR due diligence (buyside and sell side) – writing and reviewing.
    • Vendor assist.
    • Planning and execution of integrations and separations across strategy, OD, people transition, culture, employee experience, infrastructure, and systems.
    • HR Operations, including people, process, governance, service management, technology and contracts.
    • Design, negotiation and operation of HR‑related transitional services.
    • Advise, challenge and support clients through the deal life cycle including deal execution.
  • Deep technical expertise in at least one of:
    • Operating model, organisation design and execution.
    • Talent retention strategy, talent pooling and assessment & selection.
    • Cultural assimilation, shaping employee experience strategy and execution.
    • Headcount and HR related synergies, e.g., workforce optimisation, managing RIF programmes and large‑scale workforce transitions.
    • HR operating models – integrating, carving out or setting up from scratch.
    • Labour relations – TUPE, restructuring and redundancy, union negotiation strategies and Collective Labour Agreements.
  • Understanding of the deal lifecycle and the role of HR and change management.
  • Leading and facilitation of client meetings and interviews.
  • Leading a team that includes both colleagues and client staff.
  • Team management experience, including development and growth plans.
  • Programme management experience and track record of successful delivery of projects.
  • Experience of HR outsourcing, supplier management and procurement.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, fluid situations and a highly pressured environment.
  • Fluency in a European language beneficial.
  • Flexibility to travel when required and manage virtual teams and client projects in a hybrid working world.
  • Bachelor's degree qualification (professional qualification welcome).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including reporting.
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply skills to new situations.
