At Smart DCC, we're looking for a proactive, organised and adaptable People Team Co-Ordinator to join our Reward & HR Operations team on a 12-month fixed-term basis.
This is more than an administration role. You'll become a key part of a busy and evolving People Team, supporting activities that impact colleagues across the entire organisation. From onboarding new hires and coordinating team activities to managing supplier administration and supporting important People initiatives, you'll play a central role in helping the team operate effectively.

What You'll Be DoingYou'll support the wider People Team across a broad range of activities, including:
- Managing People Team purchase orders, invoices and supplier administration.
- Supporting employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, internal moves and leavers.
- Monitoring shared inboxes and responding to employee queries.
- Coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and organising team events.
- Providing note-taking support for meetings and maintaining accurate records.
- Maintaining People Team communications, distribution lists and intranet content.
- Supporting reporting, tracking and other operational activities across the People Team.
We're less concerned about whether you've worked in HR before and more interested in finding someone who can bring outstanding organisational skills, initiative and a positive approach.
You’ll be successful in this role if you have:
- Experience in administration, coordination, operations, customer support or a similar role.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work.
- Confidence communicating with a wide range of stakeholders.
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
- Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
