Human Resources Director

Salary Guide: £85,000 - £90,000 plus car, bonus and package

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a successful, privately owned, multi-site organisation embarking on a significant phase of growth and transformation.

This newly created HR Director role will lead the people agenda across a growing portfolio of businesses, partnering closely with the Managing Director and Executive Leadership Team to shape organisational capability, leadership, culture and workforce strategy.

This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious senior HR leader looking to step into their first HR Director position, or an existing HR Director seeking a broader, commercially focused challenge.

The Role

As HR Director, you will:

• Develop and deliver a commercially aligned people strategy to support ambitious growth plans.
• Partner with senior leaders to influence organisational design, workforce planning and leadership capability.
• Lead talent acquisition, succession planning and leadership development initiatives.
• Support organisational growth, integration and change across multiple business units.
• Strengthen HR operations, systems, governance and people processes.
• Lead and develop an established HR team while remaining close to the operational business.

About You

We're looking for a commercially minded HR leader who:

• Has operated at senior HR leadership level within a multi-site or growing organisation.
• Can influence senior stakeholders and build credibility across diverse operational environments.
• Balances strategic thinking with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
• Has experience across organisational development, talent, employee relations and workforce planning.
• Thrives in fast-paced businesses where relationships and commercial judgement are key.

Experience with in engineering, manufacturing or another operationally focused environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
