- Previous strong experience in a similar busy HR Administrator or HR Coordinator role
- An experienced Office manager with strong general HR support experience would also be considered
- CIPD qualified would be beneficial but not essential as the opportunity to provide study support is available
- Comfortable using Word, Excel and Outlook
- Confident and assertive
- The ability to make decisions independently
- Able to work in a fast paced environment, multitasking and working to deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
Working as the sole HR support in the office, liaising with the wider HR team, you will be providing varied HR and office support for an expanding professional services company. The role will be mainly focused on HR administration with some elements of assisting with the office facilities. Duties will include:
- Providing HR administration support across the business, including managing personnel records, employee documentation, and HR databases
- Assisting with recruitment processes, from job posting to offer management and onboarding
- Maintaining employee files and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Managing and monitor employee absence, holidays, and sickness
- Supporting the performance management process
- Assisting with employee relations matters, providing support where needed
- Coordinating training and development activities
- Assisting with payroll administration
- Providing general HR support and guidance to managers and staff across the business
- Helping ensure the smooth day to day running of the office, acting as the main point of contact for office related issues and facilities requests
- Liaising with and managing a range of suppliers and service providers including stationary, utilities, cleaning and maintenance
- Coordinating Health and Safety requirements
- Assisting organising internal meetings and staff events
- Liaising with building management for office maintenance, repairs and general upkeep
- Supporting senior management with general office administration and operational improvements
