- Provide day-to-day leadership and specialist support to the in-house Recruitment team
- Support and coach Recruiters
- Act as the first point of escalation for recruitment queries and complex cases
- Monitor recruitment activity, vacancy progress and service performance against key metrics
- Oversee recruitment compliance, audit and quality assurance activity
- Support the effective use of Oracle Recruitment
- Champion inclusive recruitment practices
- Help drive continuous improvement across recruitment processes, systems and service delivery
- Ensure recruitment activity is efficient, accurate, compliant with University policies, employment legislation and UKVI requirements, and customer-focused
- Deliver an excellent experience for recruiting managers and candidates
Requirements
- Significant experience within an in-house recruitment environment
- Experience supervising and coordinating recruitment teams and operational activity
- Strong knowledge of recruitment policies, employment legislation and recruitment best practice
- Experience of quality assurance, compliance monitoring or audit processes
- Experience using HR and recruitment management systems
- Ability to provide advice, guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders
- Strong customer service focus
- Commitment to delivering an outstanding recruitment experience
