The Agile Delivery Lead plays a pivotal role in driving consistent, outcome-focused delivery across multiple domains and work streams within a fast-paced, regulated environment. Responsible for enabling effective collaboration and alignment across Product, Engineering, and Technology teams, this role ensures strategic initiatives are delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with business and regulatory priorities.

Through strong coaching, delivery leadership, and continuous improvement practices, the Agile Delivery Lead uplifts delivery maturity, promotes Agile ways of working, and fosters a culture of accountability, transparency, and sustainable success across the organisation.

• Enable flow across multiple Agile / scrum / kanban teams and drive continuous improvement.
• Remove cross-team blockers and manage dependencies with external teams.
• Embed Agile principles and a culture of delivery excellence across teams and domains.
• Report on delivery health, risks, SEI / DORA metrics and OKR progression.
• Champion outcome-focused delivery by aligning team goals and outputs with strategic business objectives.
• Foster a consistent delivery approach across teams, ensuring alignment on ways of working, ceremonies, and standards.
• Coach Project Managers to improve delivery maturity, predictability, and cross-team collaboration.
• Facilitate cross-team communication and alignment, enabling collaboration between Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders.
• Identify and implement opportunities to mature delivery practices, tooling, and governance across the portfolio.
• Support roadmap planning and prioritization by providing insights into delivery capacity, dependencies, and outcomes.
• Drive transparency and accountability through data-driven delivery reporting and continuous feedback loops.
• Proactively identify systemic risks (e.g. regulatory, technical, or operational) and coordinate mitigation plans to protect delivery integrity.
• Contribute to the evolution of delivery frameworks and playbooks tailored for regulated, always-on digital platforms.
• Ensure that all delivery practices support responsible gambling principles, player protection, and compliance with UKGC regulations.

• Proven track record in managing multiple Agile teams or complex delivery initiatives.
• Excellent leadership, coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to uplift delivery maturity across teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Lean) and experience with scaled delivery approaches (e.g. SAFe, LeSS, or custom scaling).
• Demonstrated ability to drive Agile ways of working across cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Operations, and Technology.
• Proven experience in delivering complex digital products or platforms in a fast-paced, regulated industry (e.g. gambling, fintech, gaming, or e-commerce) with an understanding of compliance and audit requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels and align teams around outcomes.
• Experience using delivery metrics (e.g. DORA, flow metrics, OKRs) to measure and improve performance.
• Ability to manage inter-team dependencies, risks, and blockers to maintain delivery flow and stability.
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to turn delivery insights into actionable improvements.
• Strong understanding of continuous delivery practices, release governance, and change management in high-availability environments.
• Passion for fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make pragmatic decisions under pressure.
• Experience with outcome-based planning, SEI (Software Engineering Insights) / DORA or similar dashboards.
• Coaching mindset with experience enabling team maturity and developing high-performing, self-organising teams.
• Exposure to large-scale Agile delivery environments (e.g. SAFe, LeSS, or hybrid models) across multiple work streams or domains.
• Familiarity with continuous delivery pipelines, Dev Ops practices, and platform reliability metrics (e.g. SLOs, SLIs, uptime, incident response).
• Experience using modern delivery and collaboration tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Miro, Azure Dev Ops, Jira Align).
