A highly respected, confidential organisation is seeking a technical leader to serve as the subject matter expert and architect for their next generation, cloud based data solutions. This is an opportunity to put your stamp on the underlying infrastructure that powers all future data capabilities.

Operating at the intersection of data engineering and platform architecture. The core mission involves defining the overall architecture and technical standards for data ingestion, processing, storage, and analysis within Google Cloud Platform. This mandate requires leveraging deep expertise in core GCP services and Google Big Query to ensure the entire platform is optimised for performance, scalability, and strict security requirements.

The Lead will be responsible for defining the governance structure, ensuring all designed solutions adhere to company standards and regulatory requirements. This includes championing the use of Infrastructure as Code and driving best practices for CI / CD pipelines and security across the entire GCP environment. This position involves collaborating closely with Software Architects and mentoring development teams, serving as the ultimate authority on GCP data solutions.
