This is a new role working with an expanding and scaling company based in Manchester. The client has developed an innovative healthtech product, (web and mobile app) and is looking for a skilled Type Script/NodeJS engineer, who has experience with AWS deployment.

This is a bit of a hybrid dev/cloud role, such as the following skills will be needed from an AWS pov:

Strong, hands‑on experience with AWS, especially building and operating cloud‑native, serverless back‑end applications using services like Lambda and Event Bridge. Candidates must be able to both develop and manage complete AWS infrastructure using tools such as Cloud Formation, CDK, or Terraform, taking full ownership of delivery rather than relying on a separate Dev Ops function. Expertise in designing, authenticating, securing, and scaling APIs in AWS is key, as is the real‑world ability to troubleshoot and monitor live systems using AWS‑native tools.

This is a senior, technical position requiring someone who can credibly represent the back end in architectural discussions, shape design direction, and who has a genuine and deep practical background in modern AWS engineering—not just buzzwords or surface‑level experience.
