As we enter our next phase of growth, we’re looking for a Head of Client Partnerships to lead our approach to embedded and project-based augmented resource solutions.
This role is about more than sales.
It’s about shaping long-term partnerships where MRJ becomes a trusted extension of our clients’ digital and technology capability.
The RoleYou will lead our approach to resource augmentation, partnering with organisations to embed high-impact consultants into their teams, support large-scale digital programmes, and deliver meaningful outcomes.
Rather than transactional recruitment, this is consultative, solution-led business development. You’ll work with senior stakeholders to understand transformation roadmaps, capability gaps and delivery challenges, then position MRJ as a strategic partner across:
- Embedded & augmented teams
- Scalable technology programmes
- Strategic hiring for transformation
You’ll work closely with our delivery function to ensure we don’t just win work, we deliver exceptional outcomes.
What You’ll Be Doing Leading Resource Augmentation Growth- Develop new partnerships focused on embedded and project-based digital solutions
- Identify where organisations need additional capability to accelerate delivery
- Position MRJ as a partner in scaling product, technology and transformation teams
- Engage CPOs, CTOs, Transformation Directors, CIOs and Talent Leaders
- Lead discovery conversations around digital roadmaps, programme risk and delivery challenges
- Shape tailored solutions across resource augmentation, retained search and project teams
- Manage the full sales lifecycle from first engagement through onboarding and account expansion
- Develop long-term, multi-stream client relationships
- Work cross-functionally with delivery to ensure successful consultant integration
- Identify opportunities to scale partnerships across programmes and business units
- Protect margin while building sustainable, repeatable revenue streams
- Contribute to MRJ’s go-to-market strategy for embedded and consulting solutions
- Stay close to market shifts in digital transformation and technology investment
- Represent MRJ in senior networks and industry forums
- Have experience selling resource augmentation, consulting, project-based delivery or retained solutions
- Have operated in a technology recruitment or digital consultancy environment
- Have won and grown strategic, multi-year client partnerships
- Understand digital transformation, product delivery and modern technology teams
- Can balance commercial performance with long-term relationship value
- Are comfortable discussing scope, commercials, margins and solution design
- Take an insight-led, consultative approach to business development
- You understand that great partnerships are built on credibility, delivery and trust — not volume outreach.
This role will work closely with our 2 Directors helping to shape MRJ’s evolution from a trusted hiring partner to a strategic digital capability partner, playing a key part in building recurring, scalable revenue across resource augmentation and large-scale digital programmes.
